An aggressive dog can inflict severe injury and pain on its owner, trying to live with an aggressive dog could develop into a life-threatening situation and can put yourself and your family at risk.
In most cases of dog aggression the fault lies with the owner, aggressive behavior in dogs usually starts to show while the dog is still a puppy, dog owners usually mistake aggressive behavior from a puppy as playful behavior, the owner may not realize their mistake until its too late.It is every puppy owners responsibility to learn correct behavior training techniques, even if your puppy does not show signs of aggression otherwise even simple tasks such as walking on a leash can become a problem.
Fortunately there are ways of controlling aggressive dog behavior providing it hasn't got too out of hand.
When considering aggressive the first step should be to consult a professional in order to assess your dog's behavior, in some instances their can be medical reasons for your dogs aggressive behavior, a vet or behavior specialist can establish this.
