I was Appalled When I saw this Video

by Trisha Dingillo

Debt in America is nothing new, but when you see this video of how credit card companies are taking advantage of consumers, you may look at it differently forever.

You know the saying "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer"? I never tried to believe it. I'm an optimist. So many people now are supporting themselves without the 9-5.

When I saw this video on Credit Card Debt in America it became apparent to me that the rich are getting richer and the poor are losing everything. So many people are falling prey to their debt and will not be able to keep up or ever pull themselves out of debt.

The video is for a new movie and book that shows how credit card companies WANT you to stay in debt. Late fees and over the limit charges are a major source of revenue for credit card companies. Here is an example that wasn't covered in the video. Did you know that credit card companies not only have a due date, but a due TIME? If you are minutes late on paying your bill, you will be charged a late fee. There are so many other examples of how credit card companies take advantage of college students and many others. Watch the effect debt has had on the people's lives, and I hope you get as angry as I and the people and the video were with this information, and determine yourself to take action.

Taking advantage of human nature is no news. Debt in America is also no news. Should we be more responsible financially? Of course we should. You are the only person that can do that and it's up to only you to get educated, take charge and fight back.

If you have any type of debt as most Americans do, you will be extremely interested in watching this video and how credit card companies are making ridiculous amounts of money off of YOU! It's a must see if you want the motivation to make changes in your financial situation. Whether it be debt consolidation, refinancing your mortgage to pay off debt, or just good old budgeting to finally pay your credit card debt, there is help if you need it, but you must get educated.
